The site is located on the south side of Finch Avenue West near its intersection with Dufferin Street West in the City of Toronto’s North York District.
The surrounding land uses are primarily composed of low density employment zones, whereas lands further east of Dufferin Street and west of Keele Street tend to be more residential in nature.
To the north and south of the site are a collection of predominantly low-density institutional and traditional employment type uses.
Areas to the immediate east and west of the site are composed of commercial zones centered along Finch Avenue West, including retail/service commercial, small office and other institutional type uses.
Size
The site is surrounded by two neighbouring properties, 1101 Finch Avenue West and 1027 Finch Avenue West. These two properties collectively account for some 5.9 acres (2.4 hectares) of gross land area.

Existing uses on the site include a range of retail/service commercial and accompanying light industrial uses in a pair of predominantly single-storey, traditional employment type buildings (i.e., one on each site).
Access
The properties located on the site are currently accessible by multiple entrances along the south of Finch Avenue West and the immediate frontage of Champagne Drive; which forms the western edge of the site.
Broader access to/from the site is generally offered by the local arterial road network, as well as the regional 400-series highway network in the general vicinity. Highways 400, 407 and 401 are all roughly equidistant at some 5 kilometres to the west, north and south of the site, respectively.
